Leading a team to perfection is no easy feat and requires only the best minds in the sport. That is why Elite Power Tumbling & Trampoline chose the very best coaches to train our athletes. Read on to meet them and see what they specialize in and how they help our team fulfill their true potential.
Rona Crook
Owner/Head Coach
Owner & Head Coach Rona Crook is originally from Boone and a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She is a retired competitor of this sport & competed in tumbling, trampoline & double mini for 9 years. In 1998 she represented Team USA at the power tumbling world championships in Sydney, Australia and finished 17th in the world and is a former USTA National Team member. Through USTA & AAU she is a certified coach at the bronze, silver & gold level. She has been a member of USTA for 34 years.
Rona lives in Boone with her husband, 2 dogs-Sweet Caroline & Trixie and enjoys getting to visit her daughter at college & watching her dive.
Anyone who knows Rona, knows that she LOVES sparkles! And our gym's motto is "The more you sparkle, the better you are!"
Rose Rysavy
Assistant Coach - Double Mini & Tumbling
Coach Rose has been with Elite Power Tumbling & Trampoline since 2001 and is our head double mini trampoline coach and specializes in the lower level tumbling classes. Rose heads up our team spirit board for our competition team & puts her accomplished sewing skills to use as the team seamstress whenever outfits need alterations. She is a certified coach at the bronze, silver and gold levels through AAU & USTA. She mentors our athletes offering professional and quality guidance throughout the season.
Rose resides in Boone with her morkie "Poppy" , is a phenomenal cook and spectacular seamstress for the club when any alterations are needed to leotards or warmups. She enjoys volunteering her time packing meals for Meals in the Heartland, reading and spending time with her 6 grand children and 5 great grandchildren.
Jacie Flockhart
Coach - All Events
Jacie is the daughter of Head Coach Rona Crook & a retired Elite level athlete on trampoline, holds 2 National Champion titles on trampoline & is an AAU judge.
She is a Graduate of Boone High School & Boone's most decorated diver, owning both the 6 dive & 11 dive school records. She was inducted into the "Athlete Hall of Fame" for diving in the spring of 2023. She gives credit to her
success in diving from her strong trampoline training.
Jacie is a Senior at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD on a diving scholarship majoring in Environmental Science & Biology with 3 minors in Psychology, Communications & Business Management.
Jacie's career goals are to become a dolphin trainer at Seaworld, spent last summer in Bermuda at an internship learning to train dolphins & will intern this summer in Fort Walton, FL learning show to train show dolphins!
Anne Trudo
Coach - Tumbling & Double Mini

Anne Trudo is from Ogden, Iowa and one of Coach Rona's former teammates with 6 years of tumbling & trampoline competitive experience. Anne was brought on to coach during the 2025-2026 competition season as a recreation & competitive coach & has been a wonderful addition to the gym. She brings a fresh exciting vision for the gym & athletes. Anne will be coaching the tumbling & double mini classes.
Anne is excited to be a part of such an established gym & looks forward to carrying on the "Elite Legacy" of building future Elite Champions!
Anne resides in Ogden with her daughter Kiyah & spends her time with Kiyah's many activities & family time with her mom.
Shelbie Sutton

Shelbie Sutton is from West Des Moines, Iowa and is a former athlete of Elite Power Tumbling & Trampoline and now brings her own daughter to take classes at Elite! Shelbie joined our recreation coaching staff during the 2025-2026 season.
During the 2026-2027 season she will be joining coaching the competition team also. With many years of experience as an Elite Power Tumbling athlete her knowledge of the sport is a great asset for our club.
Shelbie is excited to be coaching along side her former coaches Rona & Rose & looks forward to being on the competition floor this next season.
Shelbie resides in West Des Moines with her daughter Jozie & her two sons.
Lexi Smith
Coach - All Events

Coach Lexi has been a member of Elite Power Tumbling & Trampoline for 12 years & was a 2026 Graduate. Lexi has been a class helper for the 4 years and will join us during the 2026-2027 as an official coach specializing in our lower level tumbling & trampoline classes.
She is a former competition team member of 12 years and holds a many State Champion & High Point titles in all events throughout her years competing.
Lexi is a graduate at Choice Charter Online School. She plans to attend DMACC in the fall with the plans to major in Accounting.
Paige Anderson
Junior Coach - Trampoline & Tumbling
Paige will be a Senior at Boone High School for the
2026-2027 season & this will be her second year as a Junior Coach at Elite Power Tumbling & Trampoline.
She has been on Elite Power Tumbling
& Trampoline's competition team for 10 years competing in tumbling, trampoline, double mini & single mini. She is a National Champion in synchronized trampoline & a National Runner Up in individual trampoline at the Sub Advanced level.
Paige's plans to join the Army after high school & then go onto study & become a brain surgeon.
